MORE than 550 homes in Bromsgrove are currently without electricity following a power cut.
The loss of power was caused by a ‘High Voltage’ incident in the local B60 and B61 areas, such as Finstall, Burcot, Blackwell and Lickey End.
National Grid engineers are in the area, working on the issues.
It has apologised to customers and says power will be restored by 1am.
Among the roads affected are Alcester Road, Burcot and Finstall, Lower Shepley Lane, Little Heath Lane, Birmingham Road and Deans Croft, Lickey End, Station Road, Cornmill Road and others in Blackwell.
