Police search for man who escaped from a mental health unit in Rubery

POLICE are appealing for information to help find a man who escaped from a mental health unit in Rubery.

Edward Morey was last seen at 12.20am on Saturday, November 26, when he escaped on escorted leave.

The 27-year-old is described as a white man, 5ft 11ins tall and of medium build and was last seen wearing a black jumper, black jeans and black trainers.

Morey has a number of birthmarks and tattoos, most notably a large birthmark covering his lower right arm, the name Karleen inscribed on his left wrist and a tattoo of a scorpion on his neck.




He has links to Coventry and Preston in Lancashire.

Members of the public are advised not approach him but to call 999 immediately.


Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency 101 number.
