Police probing several burglaries in six days in Lickey, Barnt Green and Cofton Hackett

POLICE are investigating a number of burglaries carried out in Lickey, Barnt Green and Cofton Hackett in the space of six days.

Jewellery was taken when thieves entered a property in Ashmead Rise, Cofton Hackett, between 2.30pm last Friday and 2.30pm on Saturday.

Once inside they ransacked the property and then took their haul.

At some point from 10.30am to 3pm on Saturday, raiders threw a rock through a patio door to get into a house in Bittell Road, Barnt Green.




They then searched most rooms and stole cash and jewellery.

Two homes in Barnt Green Road, Cofton Hackett were targeted around 4.40am on Sunday but the raiders failed to gain access.


In the first they tried to snap the lock on a back door and in the other attempt two men in masks tried to get in but fled when they heard a dog bark.

Burglars then stole jewellery from a home in Pinfield Drive, Barnt Green, around 5.30am on Monday. They gained access by forcing a bedroom window.

On Wednesday between 4.15pm and 5.15pm raiders forced a kitchen window and stole cash from High House Drive, Lickey.

Then, between 5pm and 9pm on the same day a house in Blackwell Road, Barnt Green, was broken into. The thieves got in through the patio doors, ransacked a bedroom and stole jewellery.
