POLICE are hunting thieves and vandals who targeted three different properties in Belbroughton in the space of one night.

The incidents all happened in the Queens Hill area of the village overnight between Sunday and Monday (September 11 and 12).

The first victim had the front window of their car smashed and a TomTom satnav and clip on sunglasses were stolen.

Another had two bay trees stolen from either side of their front door.

And the third had two antique carved stone dog statues taken from the end of their garden. The statues were very distinctive, so much so the house was known as ‘the one with the dogs’. The pieces were also of great sentimental value.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 1111.
