A BROMSGROVE care home held its third annual service to remember residents who have passed away.

St John’s Court invited families to join in with the special celebration where they had the chance to release a balloon with a message to their late loved ones.

Guests also enjoyed a poignant poetry reading and lit candles.

Manager Laura Wilkes said: “All of the team at St John’s Court work endlessly to continue to improve the support we offer and our end of life team are at the forefront of making changes and pushing forward with these improvements making a difference.

“I would like to thank Lisa Dews and Jayne Raybould in particular for co-ordinating the event as end of life champions to continue the support of the relatives and loved ones of those who have passed away, which is such an important part of our end of life care.”
