STAFF at Primrose Hospice have issued their thanks to the community for coming together to celebrate Yellow Week.
Over £9500 was raised through various fundraising events throughout June.
Sajid Javid got involved by running 10K and employees had fun by taking part in a sponsored pie splatting of Chief Executive of Bromsgrove and Redditch District Council Kevin Dicks.
Primrose Hospice’s six shops across North East Worcestershire got involved by beautifully decorating their window displays for the week and encouraging the public to do their own fundraising.
Rod Laight, chairman of Primrose Hospice said: “Every year we are so grateful to the individuals and businesses of Bromsgrove and Redditch for showing their continued support throughout Yellow Week and our other events.
“This year’s Yellow Week was made particularly fun when I got to pie splat the Chief Executive of Bromsgrove and Redditch District Council!”
