A NEW chief executive has been appointed for Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (BDHT) after Mike Brown stepped down from the helm after 14 years.
Mark Robertson, a managing director who has worked alongside Mr Brown since the trust was first established, took over on August 1.
Mr Brown said: “I have been very privileged to have had the opportunity to make a difference for the people of Bromsgrove, but I am looking forward to the next stage in my life.”
He wished Mr Robertson well for the future.
BDHT either owns or manages one in ten homes in Bromsgrove district and recently reached the milestone of providing its 4,000th home.
It has also consistently been a top ten performer in the annual ‘Best Workplaces’ competition.
Mark said: “I am really pleased to become the Chief Executive at BDHT.
“Mike leaves behind him an impressive legacy and BDHT is a vibrant and healthy business which is regularly achieving high customer satisfaction levels.”
He added the was relishing the task of driving the business forward in the future.
