Man seriously injured in Bromsgrove after vehicle crash

A  COLLISION involving a car and a motorcyclist has left a man seriously injured in Bromsgrove this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of School Lane and Birmingham Road, Licky End, Bromsgrove at 8.06am earlier today (12 August).

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance crews arrived they found a motorcyclist who had been involved in a collision with a car and was being cared for by an off duty nurse and bystanders.




“Upon assessment by ambulance staff the motorcyclist, a man, was found to have sustained serious injuries.

“He was given trauma care on scene to stabilise his condition before being conveyed by land ambulance on blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.”
