'Love Where You Live' reveals the 'Seven Wonders of Worcestershire' chosen by the public

AFTER weeks of voting and counting, the results are in for Love Where You Live’s campaign to reveal the Seven Wonders of Worcestershire.

Love Where You Live, a local online community platform, launched a Worcestershire-wide campaign to find the county’s most loved landmarks, from the top outdoor beauty spots to the incredible historical landmarks and architecture.

With the aim of casting a spotlight on Worcestershire, the campaign also wanted to showcase the most iconic landmarks and businesses.

Chosen by the public, The Seven Wonders of Worcestershire are: The Confetti Fields, the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb, Witley Court, Broadway Tower, The Regal at Evesham, River Severn at Bewdley and Worcester Cathedral

Over the past few weeks, the campaign invited people to have their say on which local landmark was included within the top seven by casting their vote on the Love Where You Live social pages.

Charles Hudson, owner of the Confetti Fields, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled and really appreciative of everyone who comes to support us every year. We’re really grateful to be the top destination in the Seven Wonders of Worcestershire campaign and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to our glorious fields next summer.”

Speaking on the county-wide campaign, Gillian Davies, Founder of LWYL, said: “Worcestershire may be small but it’s also mighty and as our social media followers have confirmed – we have an abundance of incredible destinations on our doorstep. One of our worthy winners, the Confetti Fields near Pershore, may only be open for two weeks of the year but they get thousands of visitors so it’s no surprise that it topped the polls.

“We hope our poll acts as a great guide for both visitors to the county and people who live in Worcestershire but haven’t had a chance to visit yet.”

Home to more than 70 retailers, selling over 600 products, all of which have been made or sourced by independent businesses in Worcestershire, Love Where You Live brings together the best that Worcestershire has to offer, all in one place.
