Jellybabies youngsters enjoyed dragon dance to bring in Chinese New Year

THERE was also a Chinese New Year party at Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School last Friday (January 27).

Youngsters took part in a dragon dance and sat down for a Chinese meal where they all used chopsticks.

The children all received a lucky red money envelope – another Chinese New Year tradition – and there was a ‘Chinese home corner’.

The PE session was based on acting out the animal race.

Jacqueline Walker, Jellybabies Nursery & Pre-School manager, said: “Over the week all 32 of the children took part in our theme which was a fun way for them to learn about the Chinese way of life.”
