JACK’S supermarket in Rubery has donated a variety of dog food, treats and chews to a Bromsgrove Kennel.

The donation to A&B Dogs was in honour of National Pet Month which launches every April to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership.

Ryan Bird, manager of Jack’s Rubery, said: “Everyone here loves to give back to the local community and we couldn’t forget about our furry friends.

“A&B Dogs carries out some incredible work and we’re very proud to support them in any way we can.

“We have everything you need in store to keep your furry friend happy and healthy.”

Dogs at the Bumble Hole Lane kennel are walked, played with and trained at least four times every day.
