The Sky High Kite Fly event from 10am to 5pm next Sunday, October 1, will see guests bring their own kites or make them on the day, as well as watch expert displays by Midlands Kite Fliers, one of the UK’s premier kite groups.

The event has been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority for kite flying up to 500ft.

Amanda Sunter of Jinney Ring Craft Centre said: “We’re delighted to be holding this event to support such a fantastic local charity and hope lots of people will come along to support the day.”

Admission is £2 per person, £1 for under 12s and under threes go free.
