Finstall First School marks Global Handwashing Day

YOUNGSTERS from Finstall Pre-School took part in Global Handwashing Day.

The event, which millions of children around the world participated in, was aimed at highlighting the importance of handwashing with soap as a simple way to prevent infection.

Emma Martin, the manager of the pre-school which is based at Finstall Village Hall, said: “Already at a young age the children have an excellent understanding of the importance of good handwashing and really enjoyed taking part.

“Our aim is to always teach the children that good handwashing can keep them healthy.”
