A LOCAL brain injury charity has announced the cancellation of its family fun day in Cofton Park this weekend.
Headway was set to host its summer fayre on Sunday (June 30) but has declared the event will no longer go ahead due to ‘circumstances beyond their control’.
The charity say they ‘hope to be back next year as usual’ to bring a day of action packed family fun for visitors.
Proceeds from the event were going to be donated to Headway’s local services, supporting brain injury survivors and their families.
Organisers have said all stall holders have been advised of the cancellation via email. Headway’s social media channels have also been updated to inform expected attendees of the cancellation.
