Double celebration for Bromsgrove's Ladybird Inn

THERE was a double celebration for Bromsgrove’s Ladybird Inn this week.

As well as finding out the venue had made it back into the Good Beer Guide, staff also found out they had successfully completed a specialist training programme.

Last month employees undertook an ‘All About Beer’ course with Brett Laniosh and yesterday (Wednesday) they were presented with their certificate by Brett Laniosh, a former CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) National Director.

Brett now runs consultancy and training for the licensed trade.

Ladybird Inn manager Kate Byng said she was delighted her hard-working team had received formal recognition for their efforts.

“We undertook the “All About Beer” training not only to learn more about the types of beer and how it is made, but also to find out about beer styles and how to keep a perfect pint.

“We would like to thank Brett for running the course for us.

“Staff learned about all aspects of beer and I have noticed how much more confident they are in talking about real ale to our customers.

“We are all delighted and very proud to be listed in the national Good Beer Guide.”
