Details revealed for 'bigger and better' Bromsgrove Jobs Fair

Bromsgrove Editorial 20th Jan, 2017   0

BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid has announced he will be bringing his annual Jobs Fair back to the town and it will be bigger and better than ever.

The free event, which will boast hundreds of opportunities and vacancies from local companies looking for staff, is being held from 10am to 2pm on March 3 at the sports hall in North Bromsgrove High School.

There will also be plenty of helpful advice, including direct one-to-one communication with employers, information for people wanting to improve their CVs and top tips on attending interviews.

The Jobs Fair, which is again being officially backed by the Bromsgrove Standard, is now in its third year.

Mr Javid said: “My Jobs Fair is about creating more opportunities for local people.

“I know how intimidating it can be to apply for a job. That’s why my Jobs Fair will bridge the gap by providing direct contact for those looking for a job with local companies.

“For me, there is nothing more rewarding than helping people get on the right track so they can provide for their families, buy their own homes and reach personal goals.”

Last year’s event featured more than 45 companies and had hundreds of vacancies on offer.

It was attended by hundreds of people.
