BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid’s first Pensioners’ Fair since the pandemic will take place on July 14, it has been revealed.
The event will be the fifth one and will take place between 10am and 12pm at Parkside Hall and Bromsgrove Library.
The popular event has attracted more than 500 retirees and their family members in previous years as it showcases the broad range of services, activities and events on offer across the district.
Mr Javid will be assembling the very best of Bromsgrove’s clubs, societies and charitable organisations to shed light on what they do and bring the community together in support of the town’s older people.
Companies, organisations, and charities from across Bromsgrove and the wider area will also be able to exhibit their services to retirees in the local area.
The event will be free for both attendees and exhibitors and, as ever, will be strictly non-political.
Mr Javid said: “I am very excited to have the Pensioners’ Fair returning this year for the fifth time.
“In previous years, the fair has provided a great source of information and entertainment to retirees from across Bromsgrove District.
“I look forward to this event being another success.”
Mr Javid and his team are currently looking for exhibitors and sponsors for the event.
