A NEW phase of a programme designed to enable local manufacturing companies in the county to grow has been announced by the council.
Worcestershire County Council has launched the latest phase of the Elevate Worcestershire Manufacturing Programme.
The scheme delivered by Oxford Innovation Advice offers a range of tailored support services specifically designed to meet the unique needs of manufacturers.
This includes access to expert advice, financial support through grants, and opportunities for business development and networking.
Councillor Adam Kent, cabinet member with responsibility for economy and skills said, “We recognise the crucial role that manufacturing plays in the local economy and the vast potential it holds for future growth.
“This programme is about harnessing that potential and transforming challenges into opportunities. By providing dedicated support to our manufacturers, we are not only contributing to their individual success but also to the broader economic prosperity of Worcestershire.”
Applications for the programme are now open, and Worcestershire-based manufacturers are encouraged to apply to take advantage of the resources and support available.
“The Elevate Worcestershire Manufacturing Programme is more than just a support scheme; it is a vital part of our strategic vision for a robust and dynamic local economy,” Adam Kent added. “We are committed to creating an environment where manufacturing enterprises can not only survive but truly flourish.”
