Bromsgrove Editorial 18th Feb, 2017 Updated: 18th Feb, 2017   0

THE FIRST defibrillator for Catshill village was installed on the pavilion at the Meadows this week.

The device, which is housed in case, will be maintained by Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council.

Funding for the defib and another one, which will be housed on the side of Catshill Baptist Church, was secured by Coun Shirley Webb through the New Homes Bonus scheme.

The equipment was provided by Charlotte and Craig’s Saving Hearts Foundation.

Rob Underwood, who founded the charity, also supplied a training session so residents could be shown how to use the defibrillator.

A total of 18 residents went along to the training session on February 7.

Anyone wanting to find out more information about the defibrillators can email Coun Webb at [email protected] or call her on 07818 516682.
