STAFF from Bromsgrove’s AFH group raised £240 for Cancer Research UK with a bacon butties morning and cake sale.
The bake attracted dozens of entries to generate £190 and 100 lucky people collected £50 by tucking into the bacon butties made by their colleagues and their mums.
Every year the 300 employees at AFH, one of Bromsgrove’s largest employers, choose a charity to support.
Among the activities have been the old £1 coin collection challenge, the Great AFH Bake Off and a monthly raffle for the best spaces in the car park.
They will also be participating in a Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday, December 14, and holding a raffle where one of the prizes will be an aircraft pilot test flight experience.
Previous causes supported by AFH have been the Midlands Air Ambulance, Primrose Hospice and Macmillan.
