BROMSGROVE School is offering a significant number of bursaries for Year 7, 9 and 12 entry.
The means-tested bursaries available enable boys and girls, who might not have previously been able to consider an independent education, the chance to do so.
Scholarships are offered to both internal and external candidates.
Interviews and/or examinations are competitive, however candidates may apply for more than one scholarship.
All external candidates wishing to apply for an Academic (16+ only), Drama (13+,16+), Music (11+,13+,16+), Art or Sports Scholarship (13+, 16+) need to complete and return a scholarship application together with a completed registration form and the registration fee.
Pupils may apply for both a scholarship and a bursary.
Very able pupils living in Bromsgrove and the surrounding area, who are in need of financial assistance, would be eligible to apply for a Foundation Scholarship.
The maximum award is 50 per cent of the day fee which may be augmented by a means-tested bursary.
The award can be up to 100 per cent of the day fee.
Miss Rachel Scannell, assistant head at the school said: “Bromsgrove is committed as far as possible to helping those pupils who would benefit from an education but whose parents or guardians cannot afford full fees.
“We recommend that a bursary application form is submitted at the same time as a registration form, since early submission is advised.”
All forms are available on the School website – http://www.bromsgrove-school.co.uk – and applications should be submitted by Friday, January 3 2020.
Bursary decisions will be made and notified in writing by Monday February 24.
Candidates wishing to be considered for a Foundation Scholarship should apply in writing to Miss Rachel Scannell, Assistant Head, Bromsgrove School.
