A BROMSGROVE nursing home which became the first in the county to receive an overall ‘outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has been praised by the town’s MP.
St John’s Court, which provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 42 people, was awarded the accolade following an inspection which found staff to be ‘caring and compassionate’ with ‘safe’, ‘effective’ and ‘well-led’ care.
The nursing home on St John’s Street received a letter of congratulations from Sajid Javid.
Manager Laura Wilkes, said the staff were pleased to receive the letter and praised them for their hard work to provide the best services for residents.
“Everyone continues to be thrilled for the recognition of their hard work, we continue to strive to improve and adapt to the ever changing needs and wishes of our ladies and gentlemen who come to live at St John’s Court.”
