BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid has today announced his fourth annual Jobs Fair will take place on February 23, 2018.
Mr Javid now wants to hear from a range of local organisations, businesses and entrepreneurs who have opportunities for residents looking for jobs and apprenticeships so they can be showcased at the free event.
Last year’s Jobs Fair was the largest ever held in Bromsgrove, with thousands of career opportunities on offer to residents from more than 60 exhibitors. Visitors were able to get expert advice on how to improve their CV, along with tips on how to succeed at an interview.
Sajid said: “I’m very proud of the strong track record my Jobs Fair has of creating more opportunities for local people and companies.
“I know how intimidating it can be to apply for a job. That’s why my Jobs Fair will bridge the gap by giving those looking for a job a chance to talk one-on-one with potential employers.
“Whether you’re looking for a job that’s full-time, part-time, an apprenticeship or a career change we would be delighted to see you at the Fair. There really is something for everyone.
“I want to continue to do all I can to keep business in Bromsgrove booming.
“If you’re a local firm, we can help you find the right employees for your company and continue to fuel the Midlands’ Engine.”
The Jobs Fair will be held from 11am to 2pm at a central location in Bromsgrove.
Mr Javid and his team are currently looking for exhibitors and sponsors for the event.
