MEMBERS of the Bromsgrove Forum for Older People held their pre-Christmas meeting at the town’s Life After Stroke Centre on Tuesday.
After the announcements were made, guest speaker Tristan Harris took to the floor and talked to members about the Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards and how they were put together each week.
A festive raffle was held and raised £38 for The Stroke Association’s Life After Stroke Centre.
Secretary Mary Rowlands said: “It was good to have an entertaining talk, informative and amusing, and we appreciated the effort Tristan made in coming in such bad weather.”
Some of the members and Tristan then headed to The Navigation in Stoke Prior for a Christmas lunch.
The Bromsgrove Forum for Older People meet at the Life After Stroke Centre at 10am on the second Tuesday of every month.
