Bromsgrove Blue Cross wants your bric-a-brac for its summer fete

Bromsgrove Editorial 17th Jul, 2017   0

RESIDENTS having a summer clear-out of their homes are being urged to donate any bric-a-brac they have to the Bromsgrove Blue Cross.

The charity, based at Wildmoor Lane in Catshill, is holding its Summer Fete and Fun Dog show on Saturday, September 2 2017, and is looking for items for its stalls.

Donations of good quality china, glass, toys and other household items that are no longer wanted are very welcome. Unfortunately they are unable to take clothes, electrical or furniture items.

Neil Edwards, the manager at Blue Cross in Bromsgrove, said: “We are getting ready for our big Summer Fete and hope our supporters and local animal lovers will help us make this year’s bric-a-brac stall our biggest yet.

“It’s not just a great day out, but funds raised on the day really help us care for local homeless pets and find them loving new homes.”

Any items for donation to the event can be taken dropped into the centre on Wildmoor Lane. We can also arrange a collection – for more information please call the centre on 0300 777 1460.

Blue Cross receives no government funding and relies on the generous support of animal lovers to continue its work.
