BROMSGROVE Cricket Club is appealing for donations to help refurbish one of the pavilions at St. Godwald’s park, writes Tom Banner.
The club is trying to raise £2500 to make the changing facilities in the Hedges Pavilion more suitable for home and away players.
Matthew Banham, who plays for the Boars, said: “When it was first constructed the plan was to have lights, power and water.
“We have now got electricity and water in but now we need just a little bit of extra funding to try and get it up to the final standard of being perfect for everybody.
“The money will go towards materials and labour as well as making the pavilion look a bit nicer for those using it.”
The club have set up a JustGiving page for donations, and there will be events throughout the summer to try and raise the necessary funds including the Bromsgrove Fete on July 1 when the ground will host a car boot sale, games stalls, live music, food and fireworks.
