ACCESS to Uffmoor Woods has been restricted following a number of incidents of anti-social behaviour.
The decision was taken by The Woodland Trust and, in response, officers have been making regular visits to the site on patrol.
Ch Insp Sharron Cannings, said:”The ongoing incidents have unfortunately resulted in the Woodland Trust taking action to restrict access to the public space.
“We appreciate that this is a rare occurrence and we will continue to work closely with the Woodland Trust to ensure the safety of the area.”
Anyone with any information on the behaviour at the beauty spot should call officers on 101.
