The Lost Notes heading to Bromsgrove after being found by town's folk club

Bromsgrove Editorial 27th Nov, 2017   0

THE LOST Notes the latest band to perform at Bromsgrove Folk Club.

The group, which came to the club during a Showcase night designed to introduce emerging artists to a wider audience, will be at Catshill Club at 8pm on Thursday, November 30.

The Lost Notes’ fusion of  bluegrass, folk, jazz, blues and pop was an immediate hit with the Bromsgrove audience at its last visit and the band was there and then booked to play at Bromsgrove Folk Festival last July, a performance which was greeted with so much enthusiasm that they were asked back to the club.

The Lost Notes have built up a loyal fan base through performances at places such as the Moseley Folk Festival, The Glee Club, Kitchen Garden Cafe, The Blue Piano, The Tower of Song, Ort Cafe, The Red Lion Folk Club as well as Bromsgrove’s own Folk Club and Festival.

Their debut album Run Free Right Now is due for release in the next week or so and it is hoped that the band will have advance copies with them on the night.

The Lost Notes will be supported by the Club’s resident band, Fairfield, whose recently released live album, Back Where it Started will also be on sale.

Bromsgrove Folk Club meets at Catshill Social Club, Meadow Lane.

Doors open from 7.30pm and the music will get under way at 8.00pm
