A TALENTED Bromsgrove violinist who has received top marks from the Royal Academy of Music in London is celebrating her achievement by performing a special concert at St John’s Church.

Charlotte Moseley’s ‘Musical Fireworks’ will take place at the historic church at 7.30pm next Sunday, November 5.

The hour-long concert will feature Mendelssohn’s ever popular violin concerto and Tchaikovsky’s three showpiece miniatures for violin and orchestra. She will be accompanied by the St John Camerata conducted by Matt Leach.

Charlotte has played violin since the age of five and has given many concerts in Bromsgrove, especially at St John’s Church.

She has studied music at Chethams School of Music and at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester where she gained her bachelors degree in music.

From there she went to the Royal Academy of Music in London and in July this year she was awarded her masters degree in violin performance with distinction. She was also awarded the coveted Royal Academy Diploma for her outstanding final performance.

Tickets for the show, at £10, are available on the door or can be reserved by calling 07875 403348 or 01527 869495 and leaving a message.
