AWARD-WINNING poet and the BBC Radio 4’s first Poet in Residence Daljit Nagra will speak about his work and read some of it at the latest event to have been organised by WORDS.
The event takes place at 7.30pm next Sunday (April 9) at Artrix.
Daljit writes about multicultural Britain with intelligence, humour and a sense of mischief.
His first collection, Look we have coming to England (2007), won the Forward Prize and his most recent, British Museum, is due out in May.
In 2014 he was one of 20 poets forecast by the Poetry Book Society in their Next Generation List to dominate the poetry landscape.
