BOOTLEG Blondie will be visiting Artrix next Friday, March 15, with a stunning show, writes Eve Watson.

The band is the official Debbie Harry and Blondie tribute band, having played the legendary CBGB’s in New York and to have been mentioned on Blondie’s 11th album Pollinator.

Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, is typically outrageous on stage and has been known to wear dustbin liners, thigh length boots and ripped T-shirts.

Debbie’s pride and joy is the guitar she plays every show which is signed by all the Blondie band members.

The tribute band has played the Isle of Wight Festival, the 100 Club, the Hammersmith Palais, The Electric Ballroom in London and Eric’s in Liverpool.

The group has also opened for legends such as Tony Hadley and David Essex and has built up a reputation and fan base and headline their own tours and festivals around the UK and Europe.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets, which are £16, are available by visiting artrix.co.uk or by calling 01527 577330.
