Music and mirth at Bromsgrove Folk Club this Thursday with legendary musicians

Bromsgrove Editorial 6th Nov, 2017   0

THERE will be music and mirth at Bromsgrove Folk Club on Thursday, November 9, when legendary mandolin and bass player Dave Pegg (Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull) teams up with Anthony John Clarke.

Anthony is one of the most entertaining and amusing raconteurs and songwriters on the folk scene.

The evening will feature a multitude of music, from moving songs about life on the streets, such as The Only Life Gloria Knows, to The Broken Years about the troubles in Northern Ireland.

There will also be hilarious observations such as Tuesday Night is Always Karaoke.

Regulars Fairfield will also be taking to the stage during the event at 8pm at Catshill Social Club, Meadow Road.

Everyone is welcome to ‘the most friendly club in the Midlands’.
