Irish-born singer songwriter Enda to play Bromsgrove Folk Club

Bromsgrove Editorial 22nd Sep, 2017   0

IRISH-born songwriter Enda Kenny will be the latest artist to take to the stage at Bromsgrove Folk Club.

Enda, who has lived in Melbourne since the 1980s, will be at the Catshill Social Club on Thursday, September 28.

He is renowned for his thoughtful, descriptive stories of his adoptive homeland which have struck a chord with festival audiences all over Australia and are always memorable and spiced with plenty of humour.

He is proud to sing about where he lives rather than where he left and has continued to grow his international audience with recent trips to Germany, UK, New Zealand and Canada.

Enda will be accompanied by Dave O’Neill, a former Artistic Director of Australia’s National Folk Festival who spent a decade on the road with Eric Bogle Band.

From their first appearance it became apparent that Kenny and O’Neill have a musical alliance that will continue to amaze and engage every audience they play to.
