THERE will be plenty of festive fun for all the family at Bromsgrove’s Artrix throughout December.

On Saturday, December 1, there will be the feelgood family stage show Santa In Love.

Audiences can join Santa and his friends in this fun filled family musical, complete with games, giggles and all your favourite Christmas songs.

Father Christmas will be available for a meet and greet after the show which is suitable for those aged two and upwards.

Also on Saturday there will be a lantern-making workshop ahead of next Saturday’s (December 9) Festival of Light parade through Bromsgrove town centre.

The free workshop tomorrow is for the braver lantern-makers as the designs will be more complicated creations.

Admission is free but places must be booked in advance.

Next Saturday, December 9, the winter-warming tale of The Little Match Girl will come to the School Drive venue.

The Last Baguette Theatre Company uses visual storytelling, live music and puppetry to shine a light on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic winter tale. This show is best suited for those aged four and upwards.

All and Sundry’s traditional family pantomime runs from December 15 to 23.

And on December 18 Artrix will screen The Royal Ballet Live Encore: The Nutcracker. The charming and magical production features stunning dancing, combined with Tchaikovsky’s iconic score.

On Christmas Eve families can experience adventure, festive songs, party games and get to meet Father Christmas and receive a gift during the stage production of Santa’s Christmas Party. It is suitable for two to seven-year-olds.

Throughout December Artrix will be screening The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (PG). Shows will be on December 7, 14, 21 and 28. Kiera Knightley plays the Sugar Plum Fairy in Disney’s new holiday feature film which was inspired by ETA. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

And on December 29 there will be a special sing-a-long screening of Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast (PG). The classic fairytale boasts Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens at The Beast. Fancy dress is encouraged.
