Cut price holiday to Blackpool for Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich residents, thanks to Rotary Club

RESIDENTS from Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich can have a cut price holiday to Blackpool in the summer as part of an annual community scheme.

The Rotary Club of Bromsgrove is offering people the chance to have the seven-night holiday for £185 (£40 single room supplement) from either July 26 to August 2 or August 2 to 9.

The scheme has been compiled by hoteliers in Blackpool and backed by a number of Rotary Clubs for the last 30 years.

Holidaymakers will be travelling by Johnson’s luxury coach travel and will be staying in long-established privately run guest houses in Havelock Street and Hull Road.

All guests need to be able to manage at least one flight of stairs because there are no lifts.

All rooms are en-suite with tea/coffee making facilities and TVs with bed, full English breakfast and a three-course evening meal.

While in Blackpool, people will be able to visit the famous Blackpool Tower and Strictly Come Dancing Ballroom, the Pleasure Beach, nostalgic piers and trams or just stroll along the promenade and enjoy the fresh air. There is something for everyone and a great opportunity to meet new friends and renew old acquaintances.

There will also be optional excursions/shows and ‘bingo’ night.

Coach pick-up points are at the Artrix car park and Rotary House, Droitwich.

Call Ron Pearce on 07703 567982 for more information.

To book your accommodation, all monies in payment for the holiday (cheques made payable to ‘The Rotary Club of Bromsgrove’) should be sent to: Karen Bowe, 422, Birmingham Road, Marlbrook, Bromsgrove, Worcs. B61 0HL.

Early booking is recommended.

NB: Payment must be made in full to Bromsgrove Rotary Club before your booking can be confirmed. Payments made to any other party may result in you not being able to use the coach service provide.
