POLICE recovered this Range Rover which was stolen in a keyless theft in Longbridge.
Officers from West Midlands Police Traffic Unit found it was on false plates.
The car was chased down with the help of Central Motorway Police Group, the National Police Air Service helicopter and the force’s police dogs unit.
The Range Rover was boxed in once it came to a stop in a car park and the driver was arrested.
Following the incident, West Midlands Police have urged Range Rover drivers to consider extra security.
Keyless fobs should be kept in faraday pouches or metal boxes so the signal cannot be captured by potential thieves.
Steering locks can also be used to make it difficult for – and to deter – opportunist thieves.
