A TRICK or Treat Trail in Rednal will raise money for The Woody and Winter Foundation, a local charity that helps bereaved parents.

The Rednal Community Trails aim to bring families, communities and charities together while celebrating seasonal events such as Halloween.

One of the decorated houses from last years trail.

Jenni-Emily Smith, Co-founder of Rednal Community Trails, said: “This is a more comfortable way to trick or treat for parents as they can knock on 20 doors and be turned away – you feel bad for knocking on people’s doors.”

Since its success last year, the founders wanted to help support local charities which may go under the public radar.

Once signed up for the trail, parents and households can donate cash to The Woody and Winter Foundation which will automatically put them into a raffle to win a hamper of goodies.

Houses can sign up for the trail, which then tells parents which houses they can visit.
