SINGER Shelle is off around the Midlands to promote the first single from her debut album Snakes and Ladders.
She will speak about her music journey and how it feels to have a complete career change after lockdown.
Her album will be stocked by HMV and she will be at the music company’s Cheltenham store on August 6.
She said: “It is going to be so surreal to see my music on the shelves of the most amazing music shop with my idols and classic albums that I adore.”
Shelle will also be taking to the water with an acoustic session on a canal boat.
She added: “It’s different but nothing about all this is normal day to day to be honest – knowing me I’ll probably fall in.
“I think It will be so relaxing hopefully.”
Her debut London evening will be at Pizza Express Live – a prestigious venue and, with a full band, she will take to a stage which has been previously graced by artists including Amy Winehouse, Then Jerico, S Club 7 and Nick Heywood.
“I’m so excited to playing at the venue – I’ll probably be too nervous to eat the pizza.”
Things are going from strength to strength for Shelle – she is represented by the same PR company which look after Jools Holland and Matt Goss has just followed her on Twitter.
“That would have had a 14-year-old me crying,” she said.
Plenty of footage is being taken for a documentary charting her music journey.
Her single Hypnotised, which also has a summer remix, is out on August 6.
