New stay and play opens at Catshill Village Hall

Bromsgrove Editorial 10th Feb, 2022   0

A NEW stay and play group has launched at Catshill Village Hall and takes place at the venue between 10am and 11.15am every Tuesday and Friday.

Little Pickles is suitable for children aged from birth to four.

There are a variety of toys for youngsters to play with, along with a baby area, a space for crafts and soft play.

Pretend play also takes place and free refreshments are available.

The group was started by Charlotte Rees who recently moved to Catshill.

She said: “I have got three children and was looking around for groups to take them to but there weren’t that many, particularly on the days I wanted to go so I started this one.

“I think it is so important for parents and children to get out of the house and socialise.”

Charlotte put a piece on Facebook about the group and, as well as receiving toy donations for the sessions, it also let people know it was happening.

“We had quite a few people come along from that and the feedback has been really good.”

Places at the sessions need to be booked by calling Charlotte on 07599 716280.
