A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously hurt in a crash in Bromsgrove on Sunday.

The Harley Davidson collided with a red Volvo XC40 on Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior, around 10.40am. It is believed the motorbike could have been overtaking a tractor at the time of the crash.

An ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was treated for serious injuries before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham by ambulance.

The air crew travelled with the patient to help continue treatment en-route to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he remains at this time.

West Mercia Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information or dash cam footage to email PC Kulwinder Singh on [email protected] or call 101.
