A MAN has been arrested after allegedly hitting a woman on Stoke Road in Aston Fields on Wednesday, March 24.
The woman was seen walking with the man towards the Ladybird Pub after being struck sometime between 4pm and 5pm, police said.
Officers who attended the scene said they arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of assault. He remains in police custody.
The victim reported that a vehicle was passing at the time of the assault. Police are keen to hear from anyone who might of been in the area during the said time.
