Snow leads to school closures tomorrow in Bromsgrove, Rubery and south west Birmingham

A NUMBER of schools will be fully closed tomorrow (Monday, January 25) – including to key workers’ children and vulnerable pupils – because of snow.

Among the schools in Bromsgrove district which are shut are Chadsgrove School, Hagley Catholic High School, Lickey Hills Primary School, Rigby Hall School, Sidemoor First School St Kenelms CE Primary School, St Peter’s Catholic First School, Woodrush High School and Wychbold First School and nursery.

In Rubery, Beaconside Primary, Holywell Primary and Waseley Hills High School will all be closed.

In south west Birmingham, Colmers School and Sixth Form, Colmers Farm Primary School, King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy in Frankley, Holly Hill Primary School, The Meadows Primary School, Northfield, St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School, Northfield Manor Academy, Cofton Primary School, Bellfield Primary School, Green Meadow Primary School, The Orchards Primary School, Turves Green Primary School,  Victoria School, Alphabets at Cofton Pre-School, Shenley Fields Nursery School and St Thomas Aquinas RC School will all be closed.




Remote learning will remain in place at many schools – parents are urged to check with the individual schools.
