SNACKTIME in Sanders Park returns this bank holiday weekend when the cafe reopens its doors for takeaways.

James Stokes and his team have been putting arrangements in place to ensure social distancing at the eatery which will be serving hot and cold drinks and light snacks.

Visitors to the Bromsgrove park can take-away their purchases and enjoy them as part of their outing.

James said: “We have been in the café putting these safety measures in place and talking to passersby who are excited to see we are opening again

“I am looking forward to welcoming them back this Saturday.”

Bromsgrove District Council leader Coun Karen May said: “We want people to continue to enjoy our parks while adhering to Government guidelines so this news is great for visitors and also for the café owner who is an independent trader.

“The business will be operating with social distancing in mind but we need park-goers to mindful of the Government guidelines, especially not to congregate in large groups, and to take responsibility for themselves to ensure their trip to the park is a safe and enjoyable one.”

The café will be open from 10am to 4pm (subject to weather)
