DRIVERS are being warned to avoid Blackwell Road in Bromsgrove which is blocked by a fallen tree and is closed in both directions.
The advice comes from Hagley and Rubery Police following the incident between Barnt Green and Burcot.
When it fell the tree also brought down telephone cables.
BT engineers are on their way to repair the phone lines. When that work is complete, the tree will be removed and the road reopened.
