Pensioner left with serious injuries after she was struck by a car in Rubery

A PENSIONER was left with serious injuries after she was hit by a car on a busy road in Rubery last Wednesday, December 4.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the lady, in her 80s, was struck while crossing New Road near the Subway and Co-op.

The grey car – a Mitsubishi Colt – struck the woman at around 11am.

She was later taken to hospital for treatment.
