THE FAIRBOURNE Dodders theatre group will celebrate its 40th birthday when it stages Cinderella – the first show it ever put on – next month.

Performances at Dodford Village Hall are at 7.30pm each night between December 4 and 7 with a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.

Starring in this year’s production are some who started out with the Dodders when they were young.

Clemmie Kear who plays Cinderella, Harriet Crump (Prince Charming) and Phil Stuart (Buttons) were all woodland nymphs or village children before climbing the ranks to the principle parts.

Ticket sales have already been going well, especially for the Friday night and the Saturday matinee, and the group is hoping to completely sell out as it continues to toast is marvellous milestone.

Tickets are £8 for adults, £4 for children, available by calling 07902 350941.
