BROMSGROVE Sporting Under-16 Colts Reds progressed in the Worcestershire County Cup, thanks to a penalty shoot-out win.
Zak Bennett and Andrew Edwards scored during the 2-2 draw in normal time at Meadow Park Youth, before Sporting won 5-3 in the shootout.
The Under-18 Colts Shamrocks swept aside Belbroughton 7-1 to progress to the semi-finals and continue the defence of their county cup.
Niall Doherty scored twice, Connor Dixon, Chris Geraghty, James Smith and Ethan Hart all found the net, in addition to a Belbroughton own goal.
Also going through in the under-14 equivalent of the competition were the Colts Gators, who eliminated hosts Kempsey Colts 6-3.
Blake Kindred fired a hat-trick, Dillon Partridge notched a brace, while Ik Muojekwu also scored.
Sporting’s Under-11 Colts A demolished hosts Glades Athletic 14-1 in the Amber Group in the Central Warwickshire Youth League.
Jack Bate scored four and Akintunde Akingbola a hat-trick, with Jed Fairhurst (2), Mickey Senior (2), Alfie Fowke, Harrison Biddlestone and Tymon Blaszkowski also on the scoresheet.
The Under-17 Colts Reds were not as fortunate in the Midland Junior Premier League, losing 3-1 to visitors Alvis Juniors. Lewis Espley was the Sporting scorer.
