A BRAND new bus shelter will be installed on the Birmingham Road.
The current dilapidated shelter next to the former Vauxhall garage, opposite the Crabmill pub, will be removed on Tuesday and replaced.
The new one, made of stainless steel and featuring splash panels, will be put in between August 29 and September 6.
The bus shelter will not be in use during this period.
Matthew Mead, senior engineering technician, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to residents whilst the work is taking place and hope to get it completed as quickly and efficiently as possible so the bus shelter can be back in use.”
In the last fortnight, the Standard has received complaints about the state of some of the bus shelters in Bromsgrove and Droitwich.
