PUPILS at Waseley Hills High School have received another ‘fantastic’ set of GCSE results, with improvements in English Mathematics and Science.

Pass rates in those core subjects have all seen big improvements on last year.

Headteacher Alan Roll said: “One notable mention must pupil Paige Palmer, who achieved a grade 9 in psychology and was awarded the highest mark in the country for her examination.

“A huge achievement.

“I’m sure the students would like to join me in thanking their teachers and parents for all their help and support during the very stressful examination period.”

Also successful was pupil Aaron Benson, who achieved three grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s.

Classmates Vicky Johnson and Ellie Harrison also impressed with one grade 9 each and eight 8s between them.
