Teenager arrested over stabbing in Frankley

A TEENAGE boy was arrested yesterday in Frankley on suspicion of robbery, following a stabbing in Holly Hill Road.

The attack happened just before 9pm on Saturday, near to the junction of Brightstone Road.

The 15-year-old victim sustained a chest injury during the incident although his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.




The 16-year-old boy was charged with wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Monday).
